CURRENT FEATURED ARTIST
"Time Weathers"
Art Showcase by Nate Crosby
Made with Pacific Northwest Hard Woods, Brass, Steel, Aluminum.
The items in this showcase are meant to be touched, examined, and handled. Know that as you handle them you will weather them, and they will weather you. If you take one home, over time it will change, as you change. Hopefully it will bring you joy.
Give Time a chance and it will fill you with holes
Scar you Make your veins more prominent
Wrinkle you
If you can weather Time
Time will weather you.
I cherish the weathering of Time.
All the wrinkles
The scars
The weird way you walk because of that fall in 7th grade when you broke your leg
How your nose is flat on one side and round on the other
They show me you are alive
That you lived
That you adapted.
Keep growing
Keep changing
Keep living
What wondrous thing might you become?
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Nate Crosby
Nate has been a proud member of the Portland arts community for over a decade. His work includes shows with Artists Repertory Theatre, LIAKA, Portland Center Stage, Theatre Vertigo, and many others. He has acted, designed sets and props, built scenery, and so much more. When Nate is not working his hands get itchy so he occupies his time and imagination with making odd little trinkets and furniture.
Drunken Hummingbird Productions is his outlet for producing these one-of-a-kind pieces.
His obsession for symmetry is most satisfied when working on the lathe, as evidenced by many of the pieces displayed here. He combines this with a love of travel, and is always secreting away odd chunks of driftwood or random tree branches in his luggage with promises to his skeptical wife that something cool will be born out of it. Soon he will be moving to New Orleans for a few years to lead Swaybox studios set shop for their first feature film!

Spring is coming, and the Dilly Dally Collection is here to welcome it in. These altars, vases, and platters create spaces to bring the beauty of the outdoors inside, infusing your home with creativity and joy. Even in winter and life’s darker moments, these pieces radiate the light, color, and energy of spring—keeping the spirit of renewal alive all year long.
Step into a world of bold florals, layered patterns, and vibrant nostalgia. Inspired by the lush energy of spring and the whimsical charm of ’90s Mary Engelbreit, Hana Rucker’s ceramic work celebrates abundance in form and color. From intricately designed wall altars to beautifully crafted display dishes, each piece is a joyful fusion of nature, texture, and maximalist delight—because more is always more.
