Sevigny Studio PDX is proud to present Between Earth and Eye, a solo exhibition of new ceramic works by Tashi, who is the founder of After Glow Ceramic Studio near Mt. Tabor. 

This collection invites viewers to consider the space between the grounded and the imaginative — between the tactile weight of clay and the expressive energy that emerges through form, glaze, and color. Each piece holds a quiet tension: softness and edge, simplicity and boldness, function and play.

Through contrast and intention, Tashi explores how clay can hold both stillness and curiosity — how something shaped by the earth can also speak to perception, intuition, and connection. The work encourages touch and contemplation, asking the viewer to move between the physical and the perceptual, the everyday and the mysterious.
