About the Artist

Mackenzie Bakewell is a Portland-based artist, photographer, and author with a passion for capturing artistic moments from everyday life. Known for her popular Journey of Colors coloring book series and her book Coloring is Good for You, Mackenzie now brings her love of color and presence into a new art form: 35mm film photography.
This art show is her latest curated collection and it explores Portland through a vintage lens, offering a unique, timeless perspective on the city. With each photograph, Mackenzie invites viewers to slow down and experience Portland’s charm in a new way, celebrating the art of film photography.
