Have you ever wanted to unleash your inner artist and bring your beloved pet to life with paints on canvas? At our gallery, we recently hosted an art night led by our founder and lead artist, Katie Sevigny, who is a highly skilled professional painter. The event was a unique opportunity for attendees to dive into the world of painting and create a masterpiece of their own.
Paint Your Pup: Guided by an Expert
Under the expert guidance of Katie Sevigny, our five attendees embarked on a creative journey to bring their beloved furry friends to life on canvas. The process began with selecting a photograph of their dog as the inspiration for their artwork. With the basic composition sketched out (helped by Katie to get it right), it was time to add depth and dimension through shadow, details, and highlights.
A Fun and Creative Experience
The art night was not only educational but also a great deal of fun. Attendees were able to tap into their creativity and explore different techniques under the guidance of Katie, who provided hands-on help and boosted confidence when anyone started to struggle with a challenging part of their painting.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter and a shared passion for art.
As the evening progressed, each participant's unique style and personality shone through in their paintings. The transformation from a blank canvas to a vibrant depiction of their furry companions was truly remarkable.

By the end of the art night, everyone was smiling and happily sharing their new Paint Your Pup masterpieces.
